The Apartment!

We arrived at our new place right in Sandton on Saturday morning, literally about 6 minutes from Geoff's office. A US consolate is only a few blocks away as well as McDonalds, our new favorite supermarket - Pick N'Pay, a casino, cinema, and Sandton City, which is just about as American as you get with all the shops and restaurants, etc. Did we mention Geoff's office is above the Gucci store?

The apartment is awesome. 2 bedroom, 2 full bath, fully furnished, pool right outside, 3 braai's (BBQ areas), 2 parking spots, VERY secure fingerprint entry, and fresh flowers and a maid service everyday. Not too bad when compared to our previous Africa experience! Patricia, our housekeeper, is the nicest woman and does all the laundry and dishes as well. We are VERY appreciative!
